GroAloe is not a pesticide and contains no chemicals. Rather than killing pests, the pests are repelled, they simply stay away from the treated plants.

Development and Research

Bill Coats is acknowledged as one of the preeminent world experts in the field of Aloe Vera research development and scientific study. As a registered Pharmacist, Clinical Nutritionist, he has been working with the Aloe Vera plant since 1963, to solve the 7000 year old problem of using fresh gel while maintaining its stability.

The Aloe Vera plant has two major issues,

  1. Oxidation
  2. Loss of the plants actives when the gel is exposed to oxygen.

Mr. Coats successfully solved those two problems and received his first patent in 1968 for producing a stable and sterile Aloe Vera product.

Mr. Coats developed his Whole Leaf patent, which captures much more of the Aloe plant’s actives over his previous patent. His company produced cosmetics and pharmaceutical products as well as private labelling products for major corporations such as Herbalife International and L’Oreal Inc. of Paris, France, with revenues in excess of $20 million.

Forming the first Aloe Vera Plantation to commercially grow Aloe Vera in South Texas in 1974, Mr. Coats observed two remarkable traits about Aloe Vera plants during this time.

  1. Insects never attacked the Aloe Plant, and
  2. The Aloe Plant was never affected by any diseases.

If these two traits could be applied to other plants such as vegetables, fruits, grains, etc., this could change the world’s food supply!

The use of toxic substances found in pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers, etc., destroy the environment, land, and water supplies causing cancer and other lethal illnesses.

Mr. Coats developed his third patent to produce an agricultural product from Aloe Vera out of an exceptional need in the global food chain, the international agricultural marketplace, and the need to feed an exponentially expanding global population with a food supply that is safe, healthy and nutritious.

The product, GroAloe, works in assisting crops to naturally be more productive.

Tests have shown up to 50% increase in production from plants/crops through the use of GroAloe. Aloe Vera, the main ingredient in GroAloe, contains plant growth factors helping to produce larger, more productive plants and crops. Aloe Vera also repels bad insects that destroy plants and crops. There are no ill effects when it enters the water supply.

Case Study with Rice

The Rice Institute of Indonesia was hired in 2012 to test GroAloe on rice paddies. 31 plots of rice were isolated for testing using 31 different conditions such as: strength of product, duration between applications, when applied, as well as other various application protocols.

The results were remarkable:

  1. Although no insect repellent, insecticides or pesticides were used, the crops were free of insect/pest problems.
  2. They produced 35% more rice where land was devoid of nutrients for rice growth
  3. GroAloe allowed product with 25% reduction of fertilizer
  4. The crops were free of disease
  5. The rice seeds were larger in size.

To further validate the Indonesian findings, in 2013, Texas A&M AgriLife Research Centre was hired in Beaumont, Texas for additional testing. As a part of the A&M study, a pre-soaking of the seeds for a specific time in a diluted solution of GroAloe was performed. This method formed a protective barrier on the seeds and resulted in a 10% increase in production.

Texas A&M also tested GroAloe on rice paddies infected with Narrow Leaf Brown Spot (NLBS) disease. NLBS is devastating to crops throughout the world but is more prominent in the Americas. GroAloe proved effective in controlling NLBS so significantly that Texas A&M AgriLife Research Centre named GroAloe as the product of choice in handling this disease.

Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center also performed tests using GroAloe as treatment for Sheath Blight, the number one disease globally effecting as much as 50% of the world’s rice production. Sheath Blight (Rhizoctonia Solani) is a fungus;

Researchers first tested GroAloe in the field, then in the laboratory and again in the field. GroAloe inhibited the spore germination of this fungus. This alone could change the rice supply of the world.

Case Study with Citrus

Sweet orange scab (SOS) is caused by the fungus Elsinöe australis and results in scab-like lesions. It has little effect on internal fruit, however, there is severe blemishing rendering them unsellable.

The disease can cause premature fruit drop, stunt young nursery trees, and new field plantings.

Current GroAloe tests involve many different aspects from pre-bloom, maturation and pre-harvest to post-harvest treatment. GroAloe penetrates the tree killing the fungus at the tree level as well during the procedure once it arrives. To date, GroAloe has destroyed every fungal, bacterial and viral pathogen it has been tested against.
